The Omaha Art Fair celebrates creativity in all its forms, showcasing daring, diverse, and inspiring artwork while inviting the entire community to experience, explore, and engage—no filters, no limits, just pure artistic expression.

ACTIVITIES

Community Mural

Bring a masterpiece to life—one piece at a time. Inspired by A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, this interactive community mural invites guests to paint a small section of a larger image. As each piece comes together, the full artwork slowly reveals itself, highlighting the beauty of collaboration and creativity. Stop by anytime during the fair to contribute your part to the bigger picture.

Children's Activity Area

Young artists can explore a variety of hands-on activities, from designing their own bracelets to experimenting with the mesmerizing patterns of water marbling. Imagination takes center stage as kids craft whimsical halos and wands, perfect for a day spent in an art-filled world. On Saturday, we’re excited to welcome a special visit from the Omaha Fire Department—a fun and memorable experience for kids of all ages. We’ll also be featuring a high school art showcase, highlighting the creativity and talent of local student artists.

Live Music

Enjoy live performances throughout the weekend at the open-air stage in Stinson Park. Featuring a variety of music from local, regional, and international musicians. The performances create a vibrant atmosphere where visitors can relax, gather, and enjoy the soundtrack of the fair.

Artist Demo - Hot Shops Art Center

Hot Shops Art Center is a vibrant, creative hub in north downtown Omaha where visitors can explore over 50 working artist studios and galleries. Known as a “living museum,” it offers a behind-the-scenes look at art in action—from glassblowing and ceramics to metalwork and painting—while fostering a collaborative community of more than 80 artists.

Artist Demo - Passageway Gallery

Passageway Gallery is a local gallery located in the Old Market area of downtown Omaha, Nebraska that showcases a diverse range of artwork from regional artists. Known for its accessible and inviting atmosphere, it offers a space for the community to experience and connect with art in a relaxed, everyday setting.

Old Market Artists Gallery is a locally run gallery located in the Old Market area of downtown Omaha, Nebraska, showcasing a diverse collection of original artwork from regional artists. Known for its intimate, welcoming atmosphere, it offers visitors a chance to explore a variety of mediums—from painting and photography to ceramics and glass—in a relaxed, historic setting.
